Jens Meiler

Jens Meiler studied chemistry at the University of Leipzig and obtained his PhD at the University of Frankfurt in 2001. After a postdoc from 2001 to 2004 at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, he became Assistant Professor in 2005 and later Associate and Full Professor of Chemistry, Pharmacology and Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Nashville, TN, USA.  He also holds a position as Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Leipzig. The Meiler Lab is actively involved in developing the Rosetta computational modeling software suite together with 15 other laboratories in the United States. As an integral part of the Rosetta community, the Meiler lab works to better understand macromolecular interactions, design custom molecules, and develop efficient ways to search conformational and sequence space.
