Students will have the opportunity to acquire relevant professional skills. Part of the training will be provided by an existing framework of the International Graduate School of the MLU (InGrA) and will be complemented by activities of extant local RTGs and other MLU-sponsored courses. The 2- to 4-hour professional skills seminars will be scheduled to minimize disrupting regular working hours. Childcare will be provided, as needed, for RTG students with small children to facilitate their participation. Attendance of professional skill courses will be monitored and documented. A minimum of one professional skill course per year is obligatory. The course “Good Scientific Practice” is mandatory.
