Alessio Di Ianni obtained his Master Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Parma with a thesis in Medicinal Chemistry, developing antiangiogenic peptide ligands against VEGF-HBD. He is now working on the structural characterization of the full-length human tumor suppressor p53, known as the guardian of the genome, in its apo- and DNA-bound state using structural mass spectrometry.
