Jonas Buhl studied biochemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. During his Master thesis at the Leibniz-Institute of Plant Biochemistry(IPB) Halle, he employed biochemical and cell biological approaches to characterize protein-protein interactions involving calmodulin. Jonas now pursues his PhD at the IPB Halle with a project on studying the function and regulation of intrinsically disordered scaffold proteins in plants with a focus on cell division.
