Ioannis Skalidis received his diploma in biology with a strong focus in biophysics, biochemistry, and bioinformatics at the University of Athens, Greece. He further strengthened his computational background with an M.Sc. degree in systems biology. Always fascinated by structural biology, he focuses on cryo-electron microscopy of metabolons during his PhD work.
