Klara studied biochemistry at the Martin Luther University in Halle, Germany. For her Master’s thesis, conducted at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry, she investigated a novel autophagy receptor in Arabidopsis thaliana and its interaction with ATG8 variants. For her PhD, she is exploring how phosphorylation and RNA binding influence the phase-separation dynamics of the SRSF1 SR domain.
