Marius studied Biochemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In his master thesis he analysed the influence of MEX3A in cancer cells and especially the mechanism in regulating glucose transporter proteins. Currently he is working on the understanding which role the MEX3 proteins (A-D) may play in cancer-associated protein ubiquitination.
