Ulrike Rutkowski studied biochemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. During her Master´s degree, she already worked on RNA Polymerase III, investigating its role in nuclear body formation. Her PhD project focuses on the RNA Polymerase III subunits POLR3G and POLR3GL and their impact on cellular differentiation and non-coding RNA transcription.
