Jonas Döbler obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Applied Sciences Emden-Leer and a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Toxicology from the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest. He later earned master’s degree in Biochemistry from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. His PhD focusses on the structural (cryo-EM) and computational (protein docking via HADDOCK, AlphaFold structure prediction, molecular dynamics simulation) investigation of protein complex flexibility underlying primary metabolism in Thermochaetoides thermophila.
